Jeung-Hwa Park

Jeung-Hwa Park, by TEXTILES NOW.

HINT: Constructed: Three-dimensional textiles.

"Softly rounded textures transform this delicately coloured two-dimensional machine knitted wollen fabric into a three-dimensional sculpture. These pieces are the result of shibori techniques using beens, nuts, or pieces of wood, once tied into bundles, the whole cloth is felted and dyed."*

*from the book TEXTILE NOW, by Drusilla Cole.
